Monk wants spotlight like a Love Island eejit
Irish Daily Mirror
|December 15, 2025
WELL lads, it looks like we have to deal with Gerry Hutch wanting to run for the Dail again - a complete waste of everybody's time, but it seems The Monk is determined to have his "fun".
-
A court in Spain has indicated that it will proceed with bringing charges on allegations of money laundering.
If The Monk was to win the Dublin Central by-election, there's the awkward question of an outstanding €800,000 tax bill that's left unpaid which could technically stop him from taking up his seat.
Now, most people with a huge tax bill and facing criminal charges would probably want to keep a low profile - but not our alleged crime gang boss turned 'Voice of the Ordinary Man in the Street'.
He keeps pushing himself into the public eye.
And that's just one of the things about Mr Monk, for all of his image as the cool, quiet, low-key guy he obviously wants the spotlight like some sort of shameless Love Island wannabe. You'd actually be a little embarrassed for him.
