Japan return trip altered for 'safety' reasons
TAOISEACH Micheal Martin has denied his flights home from Japan were changed to ensure he would make it home in time to make it to a Cork hurling match.
He was in Japan last week as part of a Government trade mission and it was initially intended he would fly home via Dubai and land in Ireland at 12pm on Saturday.
However, he and his delegation returned via Canada and arrived in Ireland around 8am.
