Opposition TDs walk out during new speaking slot
OPPOSITION TDs left the Dail Chamber as Michael Lowry spoke for the first time in the new "Other Members' Questions" slot to raise concerns about filming tragic incidents.
The slot was created after the opposition objected to Mr Lowry and other TDs who negotiated the programme for government being allowed to take part in Leaders' Questions.
The new slot was also objected to by the opposition and led to weeks of arguments.
