LION READY TO ROAR AT ASCOT
Irish Daily Mirror
|October 13, 2025
RICHARD HANNON insists "there are no excuses" as Rosallion seeks a change of luck in Saturday's Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot.
A Group 1 winner at two and three, Hannon's stable star has made the frame in each of his five runs at the top level in 2025 - but without success.
A fast-finishing short-head second under Sean Levey in the Prix du Moulin at Longchamp last month summed up the Blue Point colt's season - but the prospect of fast ground for QIPCO Champions Day has Hannon (right) purring ahead of a clash with star three-year-old Field Of Gold.
