Bears shut out 'noise' to progress

- BY KEITH WEBSTER

BEN JOHNSON revealed that "noise" coming from Green Bay all week fired up Chicago to a thrilling comeback win and their first playoff victory in 15 years.

The Bears trailed 21-3 at half time on the opening night of the NFL postseason, with Packers fans already checking out flights to Seattle for next weekend.

Chicago and Green Bay have the oldest rivalry in the NFL, stretching back 104 years.

And Bears head coach Johnson had felt that needle during the countdown to Saturday night's 213th meeting of the two teams.
