It's time to invest in ourselves and make Ireland great again..

ASK any business person and they will tell you, it is only a fool who puts all their eggs in one basket.
Every company around the globe always ensures they are not dependent on one single client because at some stage, it will only result in a risk to their business.
Yet here in Ireland despite warnings from very clever people both within the civil service and big business that is exactly what we have done.
Over the past decade we threw all our eggs in with America and now they have come back to haunt us, splattering back all over our face.
The politicians thought they were real clever, reporting record budget surpluses thanks to massive corporate tax receipts from the US multi-nationals based here.
We were the envy of Europe thanks to the billions and billions of tax income from the yanks and were able to fund lavish pay rises for the public sector. When Donald Trump, left, announced his global trade war with tariffs on every country doing business with America, the chickens very quickly came home to roost.
The Government now has no say because it will be the EU collectively that will call the shots.
