Kerolin maintains lead at top

MANCHESTER CITY cemented their six-point lead at the top of the Women's Super League yesterday as goals from Kerolin and Vivianne Miedema sealed a 2-0 win over EVERTON.

Brazil international Kerolin opened the scoring with a deflected 26th-minute effort before Holland star Miedema (inset) rounded off the victory with a well-taken second.

England's Hannah Hampton kept a clean sheet on her return from injury as CHELSEA maintained their pursuit of the leaders with a 5-0 demolition of struggling WEST HAM.
