€50m tourism boost from spooky season campaign
TOURISM chiefs have generated €50 million by selling Ireland as the “home of Halloween” destination.
The initiative is designed to highlight the island of Ireland as the authentic birthplace of Halloween and to drive autumn tourism.
The campaign has already generated more than €50million in incremental bookings through strategic partnerships with major travel platforms, with further growth expected.
