AN Irish model has spoken about the terrifying moment that she suffered a stroke while boxing training - revealing that she managed to catch it on video.

Limerick woman Shauna Lindsay opened up to her followers last week about the scary moment she suffered a stroke in the gym while sparring with a trainer, and has urged fans on social media to go to the hospital if they experience any symptoms.

In a new post, the 30-year-old shared the scary moment she suffered the stroke, pinpointing the moment her arm and her face went numb.

"Trigger warning for anyone who's actually had a stroke. My heartrate was going so fast just editing this. It might not look like much is happening but it's mad what can be going on inside our bodies that we've no idea about," she said.

"I can't tell you how scary this moment was. Sharing for educational/ curiosity purposes. "My arm and face went back to normal after about 30 seconds (I wouldn't have known my face dropped if it wasn't for this video as I ran to the bathroom, nobody actually seen that) and that's when my speech went, which lasted about 30 mins!"
