When Rishi Nair first donned the dog collar, previously worn by James Norton and Tom Brittney, in series nine he knew he had “big shoes to fill”.
However, fans quickly took Alphy into their hearts, and Rishi says he found filming series 10 a much more relaxing experience.
“To be honest, I was just relieved that I didn't get the show cancelled single-handedly!” laughs Rishi. “I had big shoes to fill coming in after James Norton and Tom Brittney. I think people underestimate how scary it is.
