If there was any doubt that wedding season was well and truly under way, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez kicked things off in Venice with a three-day celebration involving 200 guests in June.

The Brat singer and musician, who said their vows in front of around 20 friends and family, are part of a growing craze for marrying in intimate ceremonies dubbed “micro weddings’ (searches for this have increased by 22%, says bridal website hitched.co.uk).
