Holding King ransom to doing the right thing over disgraced brother

After a couple of decades. Following huge international scandals. And with fresh investigations starting.

Yes, King Charlie moved quickly to excommunicate the troublesome brother, a mere 19 years after the first criminal charges were brought against Andy's “dear friend”, the child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

But it was a slow and strange process. Only last week, we were being told that while he could be effectively thrown out of “The Firm”, Andrew couldn't be relegated from being a Prince as “you are born and die with that, as the son of a monarch”.

Lo and behold, a week later the Andy Formerly Known As Prince has been busted down the ranks to a mere commoner - so disgraced and reviled, he's now classed as an ordinary British citizen.
