...but McGinn says Scots have no excuses if they blow it now
JOHN MCGINN admitted Scotland can have “no excuses” if they fail to qualify for the World Cup.
Victories for Steve Clarke's side in their final two Group C matches would see Scotland qualify for their first World Cup finals since 1998.
Having gone unbeaten in qualifying so far, and with a playoff spot already confirmed, a win in Greece tonight would set up a winner-takes-all showdown with Denmark at Hampden Park on Tuesday.
But McGinn is well aware the Scots will have to “suffer” before they can reach the promised land of America, Mexico and Canada next summer.
