Traitor Ross is voted out of castle as he backs pals Cat and Alan to win BBC show

- BY NICOLA METHVEN TV Editor

Gotcha

JONATHAN Ross is standing by his decision to back Alan Carr and Cat Burns as Celebrity Traitors winners, despite them both voting to banish him.

After leaving the castle, he said: “In my dream scenario, it would be Cat and Alan. I don't think Alan's going to survive, but I think Cat will make it to the end, and she deserves to win.

“She had the best tactical brain.”

Despite being one of the most successful Traitors yet, Jonathan admitted he had found the role much trickier than he had anticipated.

He said: “I thought I'd be happy to be a Traitor, but I found it really hard just lying to people - that’s what makes it such compelling viewing.

“Around the second day I began to think, ‘Oh, I really wish I'd said I'd like to be a Faithful.”
