Bon Jovi rocker flies in to announce Croker show
JON Bon Jovi joked he comes to Ireland so frequently because he's “aspiring to be Irish” and refused to rule out more Croke Park gigs next year.
The Bon Jovi frontman confirmed the band will play six gigs across the US, Ireland and the UK next summer as part of The Forever Tour which will be the first time he's returned to the stage since 2022 after undergoing vocal surgery.
The 63-year-old rocker jetted into Dublin on Wednesday night to officially announce the Irish show yesterday.
When asked what it was like to be back in Ireland, he responded: “The most special.”
The Livin' On A Prayer singer, whose wife Dorothea Hurley has Irish roots, added: “There's a feeling I get when I come here. Maybe it's because I'm smart enough to marry an Irish woman. Our history takes us back to every venue that there is here in Dublin.”
