United undaunted by size of Prem task - thanks to size of their team!

- BY NEIL SQUIRES

SIZE isn't everything but Leeds are banking on it to keep them in the big time this season.

With the average height of their summer signings 6ft 2in, Leeds are certainly going to be high on their return to the Premier League.

Whether they will be mighty is open to doubt - in each of the last two seasons the three clubs promoted from the Championship have all gone straight back down.

If Leeds are to buck the trend, set-piece goals could be a valuable currency given their acquisitions.

When they were winning the Championship, only 12 of their 95 goals came from corners and free-kicks. But that was a side built on technical ability, as opposed to physicality; the recalibrated Leeds will offer a much more significant aerial threat.

"When these guys climb out of the bus, it's quite impressive. I quite like it," said manager Daniel Farke.
