The sleepy village of Barton Mallett has struggled to move on from a schoolgirl being murdered by a classmate 31 years ago.

Ben Knott lost two friends and is reeling when he learns the killer is about to be released from prison. It comes as the village is chosen as the unlikely location for a feature film by a Hollywood producer, with Ben's son Nathan cast in the leading role.
But as the film takes shape Ben recognises the storyline, and must decide between protecting his son or finally facing his past.
The second thriller from The Hobbit trilogy actor is a chilling and masterfully crafted page-turner that demands to be read in one sitting. 8/10
