DORKING WANDERERS have announced the signing of a 54-year-old fan to play in goal for today's National League South game against AFC Totton.
Terry Dunn, who previously played between the sticks for several local clubs before hanging up his gloves in 1997 - two years before Wanderers were formed - has signed a four-week contract with first-choice goalkeeper Harrison Foulkes sidelined with a spleen injury.
Wanderers say that they intend to hand Dunn his debut today at the Meadowbank Stadium before completing a loan signing on Monday, after first saying they were unable to sign a replacement in time.
