THE Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot on October 18 is the likely target for Field Of Gold, who continues his recovery from the injury sustained in Goodwood's Sussex Stakes last month.
The John and Thady Gosden-trained grey went off the 1-3 favourite to emulate his sire Kingman by adding the Visit Qatar-sponsored Group 1 to victories in the Irish 2,000 Guineas and St James's Palace Stakes.
