Book adaptations 'will never see light of day' thanks to perv links

- BY CHRISTOPHER BUCKTIN US Editor

SARAH Ferguson's Hollywood comeback is said to be in tatters after her grovelling email to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The Duchess of York could have made millions from successfully turning her novels, Her Heart for a Compass and A Most Intriguing Lady, into blockbuster TV series.

Storyboards were drawn up and the project had been pitched to streaming giants including Netflix.

But last night a Hollywood dealmaker reckoned the series is "dead and buried due to this Epstein revelation".

The source claimed: "For Sarah to be linked to this scandal at this time is just toxic news for the project. It will never see the light of day."

Fergie had long boasted, both publicly and to friends, that the show would earn her accolades like a Golden Globe and an Emmy.

She had attempted to lure Outlander star Sam Heughan into the lead role, though he never signed on.
