Andrew lasts just 24 hours after being blackmailed by dad into being a baddie

- BY CIARA O'LOUGHLIN

FATHER & STUN

POOR Andrew was banished from Slane Castle last night less than 24 hours after his own father blackmailed him.

The suspense in The Traitors Ireland continues to grow after the nail-biting seventh episode.

Last Tuesday, viewers were left on the edge of their seats when the only Traitor left, Paudie, blackmailed his son.

In the game, Traitors can be allowed to recruit or blackmail a Faithful.

If recruited, the player can decide whether to accept the offer or continue playing the game as a Faithful. However, if they are blackmailed they can either turn to the dark side or be murdered.

Paudie decided to blackmail his son hoping they could play the game together and win the €50,000 prize.

He accepted rather than be murdered.

But Paudie's decision to give his son a green cloak ultimately led to his demise.

Andrew was already under fire at the last round table, and that didn't change in last night's discussions.

The Faithfuls believed that he was the perfect target for blackmail and they weren't wrong.

Tensions were high around the table, as seven players voted for Andrew and seven voted for casino dealer Patrick.
