DUFF: WE WILL BE FRAMEOUS WITH CUP WIN
Irish Daily Mirror
|October 28, 2025
MICHAEL DUFF has urged his Wycombe players to produce more picture-perfect League Cup moments.
The Chairboys famously reached the semifinals in 2006-07, upsetting Chelsea and Jose Mourinho as they drew the first leg 1-1 before losing at Stamford Bridge.
Framed photos of that tie are still up at Adams Park - and Duff knows his men are just two matches away from another piece of history.
The Leaque One side host top-tier Fulham - a team they beat in that 2006-07 run - tonight.
Wycombe boss Duff said: “The players have a chance to write their own narrative and get people talking about them in the same breath as people did in previous years.
“That's the opportunity - go and play against the best and see what happens.
“It's a really good game, the players should be full of confidence.
