Woman 'hanging out of vehicle'

A FATHER-of-two charged with false imprisonment and endangerment drove his car with the passenger door open and a woman hanging out of the vehicle, a court heard.

Muhammed Ahsan, 21, appeared before Cork District Court yesterday charged with four offences following an alleged incident outside Listowel in Kerry in the early hours of Sunday.

Dt Sgt Shane O'Driscoll told the Judge Mary Dorgan that he arrested the accused for the purpose of charging him at Listowel Garda Station shortly before 7pm on Monday.

The court heard when the charges were put to Ahsan after he was cautioned, he said: 'No'.
