Criminal is quizzed after ramming of 3 patrol cars

GARDAI were questioning a convicted criminal last night after three of the force's cars were rammed during a pursuit in Blanchardstown, west Dublin.

The incident happened late on Tuesday and began when officers on patrol saw a car being driven dangerously.

The driver then failed to stop and officers began to pursue it, the force said.

Gardai used a stinger device to puncture several of the car's tyres but it again failed to stop.
