Family update as child set for 7th birthday
THE young girl who was seriously injured in a stabbing incident on Dublin's Parnell Square has been hailed a “miracle” as she prepares to celebrate her seventh birthday.
The child was critically hurt outside a Gaelscoil in November 2023. Two other children and hero creche worker Leanne Flynn Keogh, who also sustained injuries, received treatment in hospital before being released.
A GoFundMe page was set up for the young girl, called a Hug For A Little Girl, with her family sharing updates on her health as people continue to donate. So far, it has raised over €138,000.
