Cllr calls for festival drug tests after 2 people die

A COUNCILLOR in the North is calling for onsite drug testing at festivals as well as more transparency from local health officials.
It comes after the deaths on Sunday of two youngsters who had gone to the Emerge Festival in Belfast.
Green Party councillor Brian Smyth hit out at the lack of information from the NI Public Health Agency (PHA) after the HSE warned they suspect that high-potency MDMA is in circulation.
