WALES fan Chris Griffiths always dreamed of leading out his country at Wembley.
Now 75, Griffiths will get the chance to fulfil his ambition for a brilliant cause tonight.
Lifelong Cardiff City fan Griffiths will be one of 22 mascots walking out with both sets of England and Wales players to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s and dementia.
It will be a powerful message ahead of the Wembley friendly, which is a designated Alzheimer's Society International fixture.
The names on the back of the players’ shirts will also be removed for the second half, in what will be another poignant message for a tie-up which has raised £1.3million in the past four years.
