Chipolo finding a way to success

We spoke to the CEO and co-founder Primoz Zelensek about the firm's plans for 2026 following a successful launch last year of the Loop and Card object finders, two of the most sustainable devices of their kind on the market.

As a tech fan, the fact that Chipolo is the only company in the EU designing and manufacturing such priceless and helpful tech is exciting. And Primoz and his team placing such a high emphasis on sustainability as a core value is welcome in a world where too much fast tech is throwaway and bad for the environment.

But, as a brand, Chipolo faces challenges due to the fact that object finders such as Loop, Card and their colourful predecessor Pop are sold at such an affordable price point that profit margins are relatively low compared to other everyday carry tech such as smartphones.
