Trump defies health rumours to tout Space Command move
DONALD Trump has said the US Space Command will be moving, following major speculation he was set to make an announcement on his health.
The US President confirmed the new Space Command HQ would go to Huntsville, Alabama, following a political back-and-forth over the issue over several years.
Trump said the decision could create up to 30,000 jobs.
He said the US had been “losing” the so-called ‘space race’ to the likes of China and Vladimir Putin's Russia.
“Now we are far and away the number one in space’ Trump said.
