FIVE journalists were among 20 killed in Israeli military strikes on a hospital in southern Gaza.

- BY CHRIS HUGHES

Reports from the Strip suggest it was a double tap killing with an initial explosion on the fourth floor of the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis which killed several.

This was followed up by another bomb as rescuers attended to the scene.

The strikes yesterday killed Hussam al-Masri who worked for Reuters, Mariam Dagga, who worked for the Associated Press.

The Al Jazeera journalist Mohammed Salama, the photojournalist Moaz Abu Taha, and Ahmad Abu Aziz from Quds Feed also died. Another Reuters journalist, Hatem Khaled, was wounded in the attack.

The Israel-Hamas war has been one of the bloodiest conflicts for media.
