Willie thanks Hull KR after 'amazing' act for his parents

ROBINS boss Willie Peters has hailed Hull KR - for helping get his mum and dad back together from 10,500 miles away!

The Aussie's parents were unable to get across to the UK for last weekend's big Challenge Cup final moment. Peters saw his side become the first Rovers team in 40 years to win a major trophy and only the second to ever lift the Cup after the iconic 1980 vintage.
It was the highlight so far of his blossoming career which has seen him already make three major finals in less than three seasons at the East Yorkshire club. But on whether his parents had got over to see it, Peters explained: "Actually, funny enough, my parents are separated.
