As part of the deal, Kruise Leeming has headed to the South of France on a one-year loan deal.
Partington rose through the ranks at Wigan before making his professional debut in 2018.
He went on to make 90 appearances for the club before moving to Salford Red Devils in 2023.
The 27-year-old switched to Catalans midway through 2024, and will now return to the Brick Community Stadium until the end of the 2030 season.
He will join the squad for their overseas training camp in Tenerife.
