Webster joins the Giants

HUDDERSFIELD Giants boss Luke Robinson has welcomed the arrival of new coaching assistant Jake Webster - even though he missed his first match.

The ex-Hull KR, Castleford and New Zealand centre stood down as Keighley Cougars head coach in February but has still been working at the League 1 club in a commercial and community role. However, Robinson revealed after Thursday's 28-24 loss to Leigh Leopards that the 41-year-old has now also joined the Super League outfit.
Huddersfield have just one win from 13 league games and are in real need of any sort of lift.
