PETERS REFLECTS ON VICTORY IN CHALLENGE CUP FINAL DRESS REHEARSAL
Willie Peters paid credit to Warrington Wolves following Hull KR's 31-12 Super League victory - with the two sides set to meet again in a fortnight's time for the Challenge Cup final.
Rovers were made to work in the dress rehearsal, gaining a 14-6 lead at the break.
It was a contest until the closing exchanges, with Tom Davies adding his second late on to secure the victory, before Mikey Lewis nailed a drop-goal on the full-time hooter.
"Warrington didn't go away, they kept going," Peters said.
"If they got a try late, I think Rodrick Tai nearly went through at the end, it could have been pretty scary after that.
