UK is second worst country for solar power

He ascertains that private investment in green energy is £24bn over the next few years, he may well be right, then goes onto state that the GB government have pledged a “meagre” £300m investment. This is laughable and typical smoke and mirrors from environmentalist thinkers.

A recent report by the Renewable Energy Foundation states that government subsidies (spending taxpayers money) on green energy is equivalent to £25bn per year and since 2002 amounts to £220bn, of course all this government subsidy (spending taxpayers’ money) comes out of the taxpayers’ pocket, yours, mine and Dave's.

The study also found that the cost of green energy has risen by 50 per cent since 2005, although consumers are being told its getting cheaper.
