BEAL HOMES IS PROPOSING £37M EXPANSION

- By MARK PAGE mark.page@reachplc.com @markwpage

PLANS to build 169 more homes at a Hessle-area housing development have been submitted. Beal Homes is looking to expand Pilgrims Walk on a tree-fringed site of almost 15 acres north of Boothferry Road.

The £37m investment would enlarge the existing community, which currently features 80 luxury homes, bringing the total number of properties to 249.

The proposed new phase includes a variety of one, two, three and four-bedroom properties, encompassing terraced, semidetached and detached homes, as well as bungalows.

Beal says it would offer “options for first-time buyers, families and downsizers alike”.

If given the go-ahead, the housebuilder aims to have the first homes ready for residents to move into from early 2027.

The proposed development is situated on a site earmarked for housing under the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Local Plan.
