HULL KR head coach Willie Peters made no excuses for his side's worst performance of the season after watching them crash to a "terrible" 28-12 Super League defeat at Wakefield.

Rovers were abject from the off as the home side cantered into a 26-0 halftime lead and comfortably held out for a win that sets them up to seal a place in the playoffs if they beat bottom club Salford this week.
Rovers’ quest to seal the League Leaders’ Shield will also stretch into the final week of the season when a slip-up against Warrington on Thursday will hand rivals Wigan the unlikely chance to step in and steal top spot.
