Our MPs must champion Hull for investment

ACCORDING to media reports, the Government will shortly unveil its plans for relocating thousands of civil service jobs out of London to the regions of the UK, bringing with it an investment boost to the chosen areas worth hundreds of millions of pounds.

Is Hull and East Yorkshire on the list? The answer, surprise surprise, seems to be no.
Leeds, Manchester, York, Newcastle, Sheffield, Darlington and Aberdeen are to be favoured. At least those making the decisions are consistent. They continue to ignore Hull and East Yorkshire, and our MPs and council leaders of both Hull City and East Riding councils seem incapable - and maybe unwilling - of doing anything about it.
