HORTON WATCHES TIGERS' LAST-GASP WIN OVER OXFORD
Hull City club legend Brian Horton admitted the Tigers' dramatic 3-2 win over Oxford United was one of the best Championship games he’s witnessed in recent times.
City needed an Oliver McBurnie winner in the 93rd minute to see off Horton’s former club in a thrilling encounter at the MKM Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Having led inside a minute through Joe Gelhardt and then Matt Crooks, Gary Rowett's U's twice fought back to level inside an absorbing opening half-hour.
Horton, who was the Tigers’ special guest and introduced to the 20,000-strong crowd at halftime, was impressed with what he saw from his former club, and in particular, John Lundstram.
