New Ikea Plan and Order Point to open next week

FIRST HULL OUTLET AS SWEDISH FURNITURE RETAILER EXPANDS

IKEA'S first-ever Hull outlet is set to open later this month as the Swedish furniture retailer expands further around the UK.

The new “Plan and Order Point”, which was revealed to be on its way in March, will first open its doors at 9am on Thursday, June 19, next to Boots at Kingston Retail Park.

Unlike larger Ikea stores, the closest of which are currently in Leeds and Sheffield, this small outlet is primarily designed to “provide customers with bespoke kitchen and storage planning services”.

It “will also offer a collection area for online orders, with customers able to return IKEA purchases to the store”, a statement from the company said.
