Motorcycle racing legend joins Humber RNLI crews in TV show

GUY Martin has joined RNLI crews in the Humber in the new TV series of Guy Martin: Proper Jobs.
It airs on U&Dave (previously known as Dave) at 8pm on Sunday, January 25.
The 44-year-old motorcycling racing legend from Grimsby donned the RNLI yellow all-weather kit and boarded a 17m Severn class lifeboat for three days of lifesaving training and learning from the dedicated crews.
Guy said he had “a lot of respect” for the crew and they had “plenty of craic”.
RNLI Humber Coxswain, Sean Cheston, said: “We certainly put Guy through his paces - with only three days he needed to pick things up quickly.
