Martin heads for FC's record books

LEWIS Martin is on course to set a new Hull FC record this season - at least in the Super League era.

The 20-year-old has been ever-present for the Black and Whites this year, notching up 18 tries from 17 appearances so far.
With two hat-tricks to his name already, the in-form Hull flyer has also recorded a brace and has only failed to score a try in four matches this season. For good measure, he has also made the third highest number of carries across the entire Super League competition to date - 252 - and is sixth for metres made with 1,749. He's also getting better with his defensive reads, notably producing two big tackles on Castleford's right edge, albeit in defeat, last week.
