Man assaulted by stranger in Spring Bank suffered the 'worst pain I have been in'

A MAN who was assaulted on Spring Bank while he was holding his dog had to go to hospital with a fracture and suspected concussion suffering “the worst pain I have been in”.
Sebastian had been with his partner heading to an Easter Sunday dinner with his family, but ended up drenched in blood and in the “worst pain of my life” following the attack at around 11:15am.
He told Hull Live: “We were close to Planet Gym at the crossing on Spring Bank on the other side of the road. There was a man walking in the opposite direction, walking towards us. He mumbled something on his way past, we had no idea what he said.
“But we didn’t acknowledge him, didn’t turn around or say anything. As we got to the crossing, I went to push the button and he just shouted, ‘Oi, mate’ or ‘Oi, man’ I glanced - literally just turned my head slightly - to look to see whether he was shouting at us.
“He was running at me. I don't know what happened, but I think he just ran directly into me and just sent me flying onto my face.
“I don’t know what happened after that, I just remember being on the floor.
“My partner said he got in her face as well, but she put him off a bit by shouting at him about the dog. Because I was holding my dog and as I went down, I let her go, and she ran away.
