'It can make a huge difference'

A LIFE-saving defibrillator has been installed at Priory Woods Cemetery Hull City Council has announced

The device adds to the one already available at Chanterlands Crematorium, as well as those at other council locations.

This particular defibrillator has been made possible by Hull Action for Neighbourhood Defibrillators (HANDS), a partnership where Hull City Council works with other organisations such as the Yorkshire Ambulance Service, the Rotary Club of Hull, and the Oliver King Foundation. The council said it recognises how vital defibrillators are, and has solely funded installations elsewhere in the city, including for use in schools, community centres and other buildings.
