I don't want to lose, I want to be winner, says Farrell

LIAM Farrell will play in his tenth Grand Final tonight but the Wigan Warriors stalwart admits his motivation to continue isn't winning, but instead the fear of losing.

Farrell was part of the Wigan side that won at Old Trafford in 2010 and he wiill be hoping to get a seventh winners ring when the Warriors battle it out with the Robins.
However, the three defeats at the Theatre of Dreams are what ultimately drive the 35-year-old, none more so than the Warriors' dramatic defeat to St Helens in 2020 when Jack Welsby scored the winner after the hooter.
"I still have a fear of losing," Farrell admitted. "I don't want to lose. I want to be a winner. This club is just built on success. I want to be part of that.
"The worst one was Covid, that one lasted for months on end. That was bad, losing any is bad, you're coming against tough oppositions and losing to Leeds in 2015 was bad.
