Hull FC secure new partnership and confirm new coach

HULL FC have begun a new rugby league development partnership with the University of Hull, with the hope of strengthening the city's player pathways and creating further opportunities for student athletes to progress in the professional game.

The partnership will give more time and more opportunity to develop young players, particularly those in the Hull FC reserve setup who are still in education and, in some cases, training with the first team. It will mirror the partnership seen at academy level at Bishop Burton College, with many members of the Black and Whites’ U18s squad also in education.

Meanwhile, the new partnership extends Hull's roots at the university, with the side training at the campus since late 2022.
