Families and friends save on group bus fares this summer

DISCOUNTED bus fares for families and groups of friends are on offer in the Hull area this summer.

Stagecoach East Midlands and East Yorkshire Buses are offering the Hull Card Group ticket for just £11, ideal for summer outings or attending city events such as Dino Day and Freedom Festival.

The Hull Bus Alliance is encouraging people to take advantage of the offer, which runs until the end of August. Thanks to funding from the Department for Transport and Hull City Council, the Hull Card Group ticket has seen a reduction of £3.90 from its usual price of £14.90.

This means that children essentially travel free when accompanied by two adults, compared to the cost of two Adult Dayriders from either operator.

The Hull Card Group ticket allows travel on both Stagecoach East Midlands and East Yorkshire Buses in Hull, for up to six people of any age, and lasts all day.
