WIN OVER FC COULD GIVE ROBINS LEAGUE LEADERS' SHIELD
HULL KR have the chance to lift a historic first-ever League Leaders’ Shield this week - made even sweeter by the opportunity to do so against their fiercest rivals.
The Black and Whites were heavily beaten by Leeds in a huge dent to their playoff hopes, pushed outside the top six following Wakefield’s convincing win over Huddersfield.
Only a point separates Hull FC and Wakefield, but John Cartwright’s outfit are doing it tough, losing Herman Ese’ese and Ed Chamberlain with lower leg and hamstring issues respectively.
Cade Cust also picked up a knock, while veteran prop Liam Watts was suffering with a tight hamstring after playing big minutes.
They are also without Will Pryce (hamstring), Jed Cartwright (pectoral), John Asiata (hamstring), Ligi Sao (knee), and Liam Knight (ankle).
