A GROUP of club night promoters in Hull have raised hundreds of pounds that have gone towards gifts for children facing long-term health conditions this Christmas.

The team behind regular hard techno club night, Techno Noize, staged a recent festive edition with proceeds going towards Sunshine House - a facility that offers short breaks for children and young people with long-term conditions, life-limiting conditions and/or complex health needs.

The group have described the “heartwarming” feeling of being able to support the centre, which has also been able to kit out some of the children’s rooms with reading lamps to make them more homely.

Danny Nolan, one of the Techno Noize team, said the idea to stage an annual Christmas fundraiser had generated a huge response.
