HULL City’s encouraging start to the season, which culminated in Saturday's fine 3-1 win over Southampton, has seen the bookmakers change their tune when it comes to predicting their fortunes.

After a difficult summer with the club's transfer restrictions, coupled with another change of manager on the back of last term's struggles, City were backed to face another difficult season along with crisis club Sheffield Wednesday.

That convincing win over Southampton, coming after a deserved 2-2 draw at Swansea City, has lifted spirits around the MKM, especially after successive defeats before the international break.
